Why does England not join the euro.

Having lived in the uk for the last few days I have had to regularly transfer money from Ireland to England. This does mean I am constantly checking the exchange rate. I usually web site as yahoo finance and xe.com.

I have been watching eagerly to see if the Euro will strenghten against the Pound. Like in early 2009. See the pick from yahoo finance.

So I have become a bit of a currency dealer and a bad one at that. It would be so much easier if England joined the Euro.

I have experienced the joy of travelling through Europe with just one set of currency.

Yes  to Euro.

It time to drop the Pound.

I have just come back from a 40 mile training cycle ride. Boy am I tired and god knows how I will feel in the morning.

Also I need to buy a racer bike.. I need to do a lot of work. and need to get a lot fitter..

I just read this post and it made me sad to read this. It is another example of Nepalese people taking advantage of there fellow people. It is also an example of lost hope and dreams and that not all answers lie with leaving nepal for the west.

Blur's Beetlebum.

Was just on facebook and a friend place a link to Blur's Coffee and Tv. It got me thinking about where I was when I first hear this song. It brought loads of great memories of being back in College and Uni for the first time in 1999. I even remember playing this on the Juke box in the snackery of the Kevin Street campus of D.I.T

I even bought their album!!!

But my favourite Blur song from this album is Beetlebum. I have included the link to the offical video on  Youtube here as I cant put the video here. But I have found a live version of the song so have a look at both. Hope this brings back good memories.

Difference Between Ireland and UK!!

Internet Providers, and the choice in the UK is amazing compared the Ireland, Currently I am with Virgin Media, and this package includes, 10MB broad band, Basic TV package, phone Line and free landline week end calls for the low price of £25 a month.


Back in Ireland, the package that I settle for was from NTL, this includes phone,TV and broad band- However the price is 74 Euros..

Why is Ireland so expensive??????

Stethoscope Shopping!

Well I have some bad news, I lost my Stethoscope!!! BOO

As a medical student/health professional a stethoscope is your main tool of investigation. I feel Naked without it!!!

I have search the web for supplier and I have decide to buy a Littmann Classic II SE  again. But this time I have used the engraving services to place my name on the bell. So if I ever loose it again or is taken from me, Hopefully I will get it Back.

I know shopping for a dress can be problematic and stressful but this is to sick. WTF??? comes to mind.
